Getting Around Vieques

Golf Cart and Car Rentals should be booked as far in advance as possible, as they tend to sell out! There are many rental agencies on the island, but these are the 2 we always use:

utvrentalpr - Variety of golf carts and full size cars. They will pick you up and drop you off at the airport or ferry, but they will NOT travel to Esperanza (where La Maca is located). So you will have to make sure you arrive and depart during their operating hours (check their website and call ahead). If you do not get your car upon arrival, you will have to catch a taxi to La Maca.

funbrothers - They only rent UTVs, but they are conveniently located within walking distance from La Maca.

When you stay at La Maca, you can load up our beach cart with chairs and a cooler and just walk down to the beach right around the corner. But Vieques is a beautiful island with much to explore, so if you don’t have a car, there are plenty of Taxis to take you around (even beach hopping).
